After spending 12 years as a student of Mason Public Schools, I consider it an honor and privlege to now be teaching in such an amazing community that I know so well!   In 1999 I completed my studies at Michigan State University leaving with a Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology.  Upon graduation, I discovered my passion for teaching and attended Spring Arbor College to complete my teaching certification in biology and mathematics.  In 2002 I was hired as a teacher at Mason High School. I then earned my Master's Degree in Athletic Administration from Michigan State University in 2006.

For the past 13 years, I have taught Biology, Anatomy and Physiology and Mathematics, with the majority of my years focusing on biology.  

In my spare time I love spending time with my husband Joe and children Meghan and Grant.  I coach softball and am a part of the Costa RIca Biological Field Trip taken every other year.
